Introduction

lucDr. Luc Renambot is a Research Assistant Professor in the UIC Computer Science department and member of the Electronic Visualization Laboratory at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Luc Renambot received a PhD at the University of Rennes (France) in 2000, conducting research on parallel rendering algorithms for illumination simulation. Then holding a Postdoctoral position at the Free University of Amsterdam, till 2002, he worked on bringing education and scientific visualization to virtual reality environments. Since 2003, he joined EVL/UIC first as a PostDoc and now as Research Assistant Professor, where his research topics include high-resolution displays, computer graphics, parallel computing, and high-speed networking.

I work mostly with Dr. Jason Leigh, Associate Professor of Computer Science and director of EVL and Dr. Andrew Johnson, Associate Professor of Computer Science and member of EVL.
